Essentials from your Mom’s wardrobe

Happy Mother’s Day to all mom’s out there, you deserve every bit of love being showered on you today and everyday.

So styling and Maa are quite interconnected for me, since the basic of my styling as a kid has always been to copy Maa. Hence this day would obviously be about a Mom related styling content.

Today I bring you the wardrobe essentials from your Mom’s wardrobe that can give you an instant up in the styling game.

Her red dupatta

Never ever underestimate the power of a white kurta and red dupatta. Be it Karan Johar or Ekta kapoor or even Sabasachi Red dupatta have been a staple for all. Go ahead raid your mom’s wardrobe  and style that red dupatta and be the desi girl of your gang.

Here I’ve used a red cotton bandhni dupatta from Maa’s wardrobe, you can find something similar here: but definitely after the lockdown.

That silk saree

Your first saree would never be your own. It will always be your mother’s, since my mother has an extreme love for silk, something that she has passed on to me, I decided to pick this black, white and red combination silk saree and went ahead for one of my important occasions. I styled it with heavy earrings and a pair of ethnic chappals.

Her collection of silver

So Mothers have the most exotic collection of jewelleries, be it golds, junk jewelleries or those beautiful silver jewelleries. So go ahead and raid her wardrobe and borrow a pair of silver earrings. Silver with kurta is the most classic stylish ethnic wear you’re going to find.

P.S. Raid her wardrobe all you want but never ever forget to compensate it all with all the smiles that you can gift her. She deserves this.
